POWER library allows you to access thousands of full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for young people and more. You will find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults. Access thousands of articles and more! POWER Library also includes access to AP Images, when accessed from within the William Jeanes Memorial Library. AP Images content is searchable by date, place, and subject.

ParentTV offers thousands of on-demand parenting videos and courses with content designed to support those who care for children, from pregnancy through to teenage years. ParentTV works with leading psychologists, pediatricians, mental health specialists, nutritionists, occupational therapists and parenting educators across the globe.  Search and find videos on general parenting, play, behavior, child development, mental health, sleep, nutrition, technology and more. Most videos are under 10 minutes in length and can be accessed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Scholastic Teachables

Worksheets, lesson plans, learning games, and more! Download printable activities for any subject: math, science, reading comprehension, STEM, writing, and beyond.  Content includes lesson plans, reading passages, games and puzzles, clip art, bulletin board ideas, and skills sheets for kids in any grade.

Ask Here PA is Pennsylvania’s new statewide live chat reference service and is a free service to all residents of Pennsylvania, offering live chat reference 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. When you have a question that you need answered quickly, visit Ask Here PA.  In most cases, you will get your answer in 15 minutes or less. When a question involves lengthy research, the librarians at Ask Here PA will help get you started or provide a referral for you and your question. Ask here!

Audio to Go / Electronic Audio Books and EBooks

With our digital library, patrons can browse, check out, and download digital audio books, eBooks, and magazines anytime of day from anywhere in the world.  Available 24/7, now your library is always open!
eBooks are available from the Jeanes Library

Click on the download audiobooks and eBooks button to the left to access the library’s digital audio collection and the eBook collection. Check the “supported portable eBook device” page for compatibility. Sony Readers, Nooks and Kindles are compatible eBook readers. Explore the digital library.

Download your audiobook selections to your PC to use, or transfer to a compatible portable device for use on-the-go. You can download audiobooks using your Library card. It’s quick, easy and you can do it anytime!  When the lending period is up your digital books are automatically returned — so there are never any late fees!
