The Youth Advisory Board is comprised of teens in grades 6-12 who create, plan, and implement events for the Library. They meet once a month on the first Friday of the month from 3:30-5pm. Past events that they have hosted include Anti-Valentine’s Day event for teens, a Winnie the Pooh Storytime for children, and Tech Help for adults. Teens receive community service hours for their time.
Any teen in grades 6-12 is invited to the join the YAB! Just stop by our next meeting to see what it’s like. If you have any questions feel free to contact Youth Services Librarian Eileen Denton at edenton@mclinc.org or 610-828-0441, ext. 112.
