How the Teen Summer Reading Challenge works:

The Teen Summer Reading Challenge will run from Saturday, June 15th to Friday, August 10.

All throughout the challenge, teens will are encouraged to read a minimum of 3 hours a week (just 34 minutes a day!), attend library programs and write book reviews.

When they log their  reading and/or attendance at library programs, they will earn a drawing from the teen prize jar.

Prizes include Airpods, gift cards, free books, and more!

Up to 4 drawings may be earned per week. Each drawing is a guaranteed prize!

Teen Summer Reading Challenge FAQ’s

Q: What is a “teen” at William Jeanes Memorial Library?

A: “Teens” are considered to be any person who is from 6th-12th grade.

Q: Do I have to be a student in the Colonial School District to participate?

A: Absolutely not! The program is open to ANY teen in grades 6-12.

Q: Do I need a library card to participate?

A: No. You only need an email address.
