2026 Teen Winter Reading Challenge!

How the Teen Winter Reading Challenge works:

The Teen Winter Reading Challenge will run from Monday, January 19 to Sunday, March 8.

All throughout the challenge, teens  are encouraged to read a minimum of 2 hours a week, attend library programs and write book reviews.

When they log their  reading and/or attendance at library programs, they will earn a drawing from the teen prize jar.

Teens can write up to 4 book reviews over the course of the challenge to earn additional prize drawings.

Prizes include gift cards, t-shirts, pins, free books, and more!

Up to 4 drawings may be earned per week. Each drawing is a guaranteed prize!

New this year – earn additional prize for referring a teenwho creates a new Beanstack account and signs up (limit 2)!

Teen Winter Reading Challenge FAQ’s

Q: What is a “teen” at William Jeanes Memorial Library?

A: “Teens” are considered to be any person who is from 6th-12th grade.

Q: Do I have to be a student in the Colonial School District to participate?

A: Absolutely not! The program is open to ANY teen in grades 6-12.

Q: Do I need a library card to participate?

A: No. You only need an email address.
