The following libraries in Montgomery County offer English as a Second Language classes and conversational groups.
Abington Township Public Library
Abington has conversational groups, beginner classes, advanced classes, writing classes, and 1-1 tutors. They work with an Adult Literacy Program to provide these classes and groups.

Blue Bell and Ambler
These two branches of Wissahickon Valley Public Library offer weekly ESL conversational groups. Registration is required to join the group.
Lower Providence Library
Lower Providence meets Tuesdays from 2:00 – 3:00 pm for casual, conversational English practice. Registration is required to join the group.
Upper Merion Township Library
Upper Merion Township Library offers two conversational groups that meets every Tuesday. The ESL Class – English as a Second Language Conversation Group meets at 12pm. The Talk Tuesdays: English Conversation Circle meets at 6:30pm.

Welcome the Stranger
Welcoming the Stranger is an educational non-profit that offers free classes in English as a Second Language (ESL), computer skills, and United States citizenship exam preparation to adult immigrants and refugees in the Philadelphia metro region.
