LIBRARY REOPENING

GRAB AND GO SERVICE

Hours of Limited Service in the Building:

Starting the week of September 7th:

Tuesdays through Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm

and

Mondays through Thursday evenings 3:30 to 6:30 pm

General Guidelines:

MASKS REQUIRED–For all patrons over the age of 2. Masks must be worn properly during the entire visit. If you are unable to wear a mask, please call 610-828-0441 x2 and we will accommodate you through curbside service. Please see our Mask Policy here.

TIME LIMIT–Patrons are encouraged to limit their time in the building to 20 minutes. Please keep your conversations with staff brief and distanced.

UP AND DOWN–You will be entering and exiting the building from the lower level (did you know we have one?) There are stairs and an elevator for access to the other level. One person or household in the elevator at a time, please!

CLOSING–The Library will close during the day for limited cleaning of high-contact areas. All patrons must vacate the premises when instructed to do so by the staff.

TOGETHER–All patrons under the age of 11 and any patron who requires a caregiver, must remain with a parent or caregiver during their entire time in the building.

LIMITED SERVICES–At this time we are unable to provide computers or public access to the catalog in the library. The copier is available.

TOUCH AND GO–Please wait until a patron has exited an aisle before entering that area, and please follow all staff directions to wait before accessing a popular section in the Library. There are bins located throughout the library for you to deposit any items you touched but did not take for checkout.

HOLDS–Your email and text notifications will ask you to schedule a pick-up HERE IF you wish to pickup your items via contactless curbside service. If you want to come into the building to retrieve your items, you do not need to contact us. If you previously scheduled a pick-up but would now like to get the item inside, please let us know.

GRAB AND GO–At this time, there is no space in the library for meetings, programs, tutoring, hanging out, or playing. You are welcome to make use of the picnic tables on our grounds (graciously donated by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library), or one of the many benches outside donated by library patrons like you!

FREE FOR ALL–While we are not charging fines for items being held in quarantine, if you wish to pay a fine, please bring exact change, or use the credit card option via your account online (there is a minimum and a service charge for that service.) If you wish to purchase an item from the Friends’ Book Boutiques, please have exact change. We cannot hold items for you at this time.

BRING A HAT OR UMBRELLA–We are limiting the number of patrons in the building, and you may have to wait. The entrance is at the lower level, and you will be waiting outside.

WE LIKE YOU, BUT….–Please maintain social distance both in line outside and while in the building. There are general markers located on the floors throughout.

CLOSING AT 6:00 PM ON TUESDAY 2/11

We'll be closing early this evening so that staff and patrons may travel safely ahead of the storm.

Please call the Library or visit the website Wednesday morning before heading over.
