Storytelling with Stop-Motion Animation

Monday, September 23, 2024 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm EDT

Children in grades 4-6 will learn the fundamentals of stop-motion animation while they brainstorm a story idea and create it in a fun and interactive way with LEGOs.  Comic book artist, Keville Bowen, provides a fun and supportive creative environment.


Important Details:

  • Participants should bring a camera-enabled device (like a tablet or a smart phone) from home to use for the class.
  • If you’re unable to bring a camera-enabled device for the class, contact the library beforehand to borrow a library ipad.
  • Please have the Stop Motion Studio app installed on your device before the first class.
  • The library will supply the LEGO’s.

THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED SUNDAY, JANUARY 19th

Out of an abundance of caution for staff and patrons, the Library will be closed on Sunday.

All programs and meetings are canceled, and nothing will be due. Please do not leave any Library materials outside or on the ground.

At present, the Springfield Library will also be closed on Sunday.
