Talewise returns with another exciting science show to kick off a summer full of fun, reading, and learning! Registration is required for this program for families with children ages 6-11 (or completed Kindergarten through 5th grade). In this action-packed story, two unlikely heroes work together to save their town (and the planet!) from a super-polluting mastermind! Throughout the adventure, volunteers will help the performer conduct several exciting science experiments that bring this story to life! Together we’ll explore Newton’s Laws of Motion, air pressure, chemical reactions, and more.
While you’re here for the show, be sure to register for our Children’s Summer Reading Challenge and complete our scavenger hunt! The first 100 children (ages 11 and under) to complete the hunt between 10:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. can get a free KONA Ice between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.! Additional KONA Ices can be purchased.
Registration is not required for the scavenger hunt and KONA Ice, but registration IS required for the Science Heroes show.
Science Heroes and free KONA Ices are sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library.
Space is limited to our legal room capacity, so registration is required and walk-ins WILL NOT be admitted.
