In this hands-on science program, rising first, second and third graders will conduct an experiment to determine the density of fresh and salt water.
Then they’ll explore buoyancy by making a cartesian diver. A cartesian diver is an object whose density changes with pressure.
While they are easy to construct, there is a lot of science behind this deceivingly simple toy.
Registration is required for this program.
