Las Posadas Piñata Making

In this program, children in grades 1-5 will learn about the Mexican celebration called “Las Posadas” by making the seven pointed piñata!

Las Posadas combines Aztec customs with early religious colonial traditions. The festivity started in Mexico but evolved over centuries and today is celebrated in Latin American countries and the United States.

Registration is required.

THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED SUNDAY, JANUARY 19th

Out of an abundance of caution for staff and patrons, the Library will be closed on Sunday.

All programs and meetings are canceled, and nothing will be due. Please do not leave any Library materials outside or on the ground.

At present, the Springfield Library will also be closed on Sunday.
