Once a month, this group reads a book from Lauren Tarshis’s “I Survived…” series, short historical fiction books that cover major natural and man-made disasters and events throughout history.

At the meeting, we discuss the book and do an activity related to the topic.

This monthly book club is for children in grades 4-6.

This month we’ll be discussing I Survived the California Wildfires, 2018.

You will be able to check out a copy of the book at the beginning of the month so your child has time to read the book before the meeting.
