Event Series Event Series: Learn to Sew!

Learn to Sew!

Monday, November 14, 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm EST

In this five-week program, children in first through third grade will learn the basics of hand sewing while making fun, simple projects, like a pencil pouch, felt mice, and a monster face.

Some of the skills they will learn:

  • threading a needle
  • making a knot
  • running stitch
  • backstitch
  • blanket stitch
  • sewing buttons

Because the skills build upon each other, it is important that you only sign up your child if they will be available for the six weeks.

Classes will take place on the following Mondays: 11/7, 11/14, 11/21 &  12/5, 12/12/, 12/29

Registration for this program is full.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of William Jeanes Memorial Library.
