We are thrilled to welcome Swati Chaturvedi of the Community Bollywood Dance Project to the Library!
Through the Community Bollywood Dance Project, Swati promotes cultural understanding and inclusion, celebrates diversity, empowers individuals in a judgement-free zone, fosters joyful expression and connection, supports wellness through physical exercise, and fosters mindful self-reflection and meaningful group connections.
In this celebratory, energizing program, for families with children ages 5-11, participants will be treated to an interactive presentation on Indian culture and an engaging dance workshop!
Participants are also invited to make a reservation for children to receive temporary henna “tattoos” by Swati before or after the workshop! Reservation for henna is required in addition to program registration!
Workshop and henna sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Library.
Space is limited to our legal room capacity, so registration is required and walk-ins WILL NOT be admitted.
