This month, we’ll be talking with Adult Services Librarian Jennifer Rusche, who’s been using and collecting modern fountain pens for nearly 30 years. Think fountain pens are a relic of the past? Learn why they really aren’t, how technology has improved, and an introduction to how they work. Afterwards, you’ll get a chance to try out several beginner-friendly pens from Jennifer’s collection and ask questions. (Please note: Jennifer is NOT an expert on vintage pens nor can assess your grandparents’ old pens. She will have information available on resources.) There will also be a drawing to win a fountain pen of your very own!
Registration required for in-person attendance. This event will be livestreamed on Facebook! (No Facebook account necessary to watch!) Click here for the event page.
