REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Families with children ages 2-12 are invited to join us at the Library to experience the contagious energy and positive messages of Illstyle and Peace Productions, a dance company that has mesmerized worldwide audiences young and old since 2002. Become Your Dreams celebrates individual expression and the art and movement of hip-hop and includes a funky blend of locking, breaking, popping, tap, house dancing, beatboxing, MCing, DJing, and modern and traditional dance forms. With incredible energy and personalities to match, the dancers of Illstyle & Peace will bring the history of hip-hop and other dance styles to life through interactive demonstration, jaw-dropping dance, and audience participation. Tracing hip-hop dance styles from the late 70’s through today, this acclaimed ensemble teaches positive messages such as “Think it, do it, become it!” and demonstrate that by perseverance and focus, we can reach our highest goals. Sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Library. Registration is required.
