Children in 1st through 5th grade are invited to join us at the Library to play chess with other children. We will have some chess sets available, but if you have one at home, please bring it along.
Our regular volunteer, Mr. Joe, is unable to attend this month, so parents/caregivers MUST remain in the Community Room for the duration of the program. There will not be a staff member in the room to facilitate the program, so when you arrive, just find your child’s nametag on the table inside the Community Room door, check their name off on the sign-in sheet, and they can begin to play!
Please note that this program is intended for children who already know how to play chess. It is not an instructional class, but rather an informal gathering to provide young chess players with the opportunity to play with other kids.
Registration is required.

Due to a software issue, the public computers will be out of service all weekend.
However, you will still have access to wi-fi, copying, scanning, and mobile printing.
This is WJM-specific, and does not affect our neighboring libraries, if you need to use a public computer.
Thank you for your patience!
