Digger & David: A Gift From the Moon

Wednesday, June 19th @ 6:30 pm - 7:10 pm EDT

Since before people figured out how to read and write, they have looked up at the Moon and wondered. And probably everyone you have ever met has a story about the Moon. And a question or two. How big is the Moon? How far away is the Moon? How old is the Moon? And what does it want for its birthday? A Gift From the Moon is an entertaining puppet show that tells a story of friendship and forgiveness all wrapped inside the bigger story of the Moon and Space itself, with a little magic and silliness thrown in.

David Hutchman was the Director of Performance at Please Touch Museum for 17 years, where he created an entire catalog of original, age-appropriate, highly interactive one-person shows. But throughout his tenure at the museum, David truly missed touring, so now he’s teamed up with his old puppet pal Digger and takes his shows on the road! David lives in Lansdowne, Pa., with his wife, Martha, and their two turtles, three goldfish, a yard full of dancing squirrels, lock-picking raccoons, jealous wild turkeys, cuddly skunks, and the occasional opinionated possum.

Sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library.

Registration required.
