In this four-week program, children in grades 1 & 2 will explore Newton’s 3 laws using hands-on experiments.
Week 1 – We will explore the concept of inertia by understanding the science behind “magic tricks.”
Week 2 – We will learn how mass affects and speed on an object impact the force needed to move it.
Week 3 – We will explore the concept of balanced and unbalanced forces.
Week 4 – We will identify opposing forces through a variety of hands-on experiments.
This is a four-week program, so please only register your child if they will be able to attend all four weeks (barring illness or emergency, of course).
You only need to register once to be registered for all four weeks.
Registration for this program is now closed.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of William Jeanes Memorial Library.
