Born to Read: Music, Bubble, and Comedy Show for Kids of All Abilities

This sensory-friendly music, comedy, and movement program is a “turtle-riffic” musical experience that is designed to engage with children through songs, movement, stories, projections, and interactive music technology! The show is crafted to be inclusive for all children, including children with autism spectrum disorders, and is a great time for parents and caregivers too! Each song in the show is accompanied by hand-on, visual, and sensory experiences designed to help kids learn and have fun at the same time. Kids will play instruments, try out interactive music technology and dance along through the whole show. “Mr. Matt” Mazur will bring us a show you will never forget. Mr. Matt is the Director of Turtle Dance Music and is an Autism Intervention and Early Childhood Development Music Teacher at Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities. All of the activities and techniques in his performance are based on research from the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health at Montclair State University and from the schools of thought from New York University’s MusED lab. Sponsored by Subaru of America, Inc. Registration is not yet open for this program.
