MURDER IN MAUI…A LUAU TO DIE FOR – Teen Murder Mystery

Friday, October 28, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Teens in grades 6-12, join us for a murder mystery party!

The Oceanside Palace Hotel of Maui was hosting their nightly luau on Sunset Beach. Exciting Polynesian spirit filled the
air as the guests were greeted with festive Hawaiian leis. Everybody mingled while enjoying delicious appetizers. The
celebration kicked off with fun party games, but it became apparent that some guests didn’t get along and others were
hiding scandalous secrets. The party forged on with a delicious Hawaiian dinner while the guests enjoyed a fun challenge.
With stuffed bellies, the luau partygoers gossiped and laughed, and to everyone’s horror, a dead body was discovered!
The guests rallied together and underwent a thorough investigation including a fiber analysis provided by the local police
department. Taking short breaks to relieve the stress of the investigation, they engaged in more exciting party games.
They took turns accusing the suspects they believed were guilty, and everyone came clean with their involvement in the
crime. Backed into a corner, the murderer confessed! After a brave escape attempt by the killer, the guests enjoyed a
delectable dessert and reflected on the evening’s exciting events! It was a luau that the guests will remember forever!

Here is how it will work:

Everyone who registers will be assigned a role for the murder mystery. Costumes not required, but STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!

This program is for teens (6-12th grade) and is sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library.

Registration required.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS PROGRAM IS CLOSED.
