Computer Class: File Management (2 of 2)

Tuesday, September 19, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

Become a file management master!

An essential computer skill is understanding how and where files are saved and how to retrieve them. Learn the basics of managing files and organizing your computer in the new Windows 11 environment. Topics will include creating folders and sub-folders; moving, copying, renaming and deleting files; sorting and filtering files by their properties; using the search function to find specific files by name; and renaming and recycling files.

Become proficient in the use of File Explorer!

This is the second of a two-class series. Register only if you can attend both classes. Due to the small class size, priority will be given to those individuals who have NOT taken the class before.

Proficiency with mouse and keyboard is required for this class. If you need help with basic computer skills, please contact the reference desk at 610-828-0441 x 103 to schedule a session with a librarian.

Use the form below to reserve your place. Spots are limited, so sign up quickly!

This program is provided through a Digital Literacy and Workforce Development Grant from the PA Department of Labor and Industry.
