Teen Summer Reading Club

The Teen Summer Reading Club is here!

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join the Teen Summer Reading Club at William Jeanes Memorial Library. Just come into the library and register! The Club will run from Saturday, June 17th to Saturday, August 12th.

We will end the Club with a Blacklight Dance Party (wear white!) in the Community Room on Friday, August 11th from 6-8pm! Registration is appreciated. Click here to register.

You will get three items when you register for the Club:

Reading Log – Keep track of what you’re reading (listening to an audiobook or playaway counts, too!) all summer. For every 30 minutes you read you will receive a raffle ticket which will give you a chance to win prizes during our weekly raffles or for a chance to win our BIG end-of-the-summer prize – a Google Chromebook!

Bingo Card – This card has tasks on it like “Read a book from the New YA Book section” and “Complete one hour of community service”. Get “Bingo” and you’ll be put in for a chance to win a $50 Barnes and Noble gift card!

Program Pamphlet – This has a list of ALL the teen programs for this summer, such as Harry Potter art workshops, DIY bath bombs, candy testing, and more! You will also receive raffle tickets for attending teen programs.

As you read and receive your raffle tickets you will also receive prizes!

First 5 hours read – $5 Barnes and Noble gift card

First 10 hours read – free book

First 15 hours read – $5 Barnes and Noble gift card
