Members of the William Jeanes Library’s Youth Advisory Board held a fall craft program at the library on November 20th. They planned the crafts and helped the children make a variety of items to take home. Members, Hannah Entwistle (left) and Carli Fine, help twins Kaiane (left) and Maite Jayo make a fall tree using puzzle pieces for the leaves. Families who attended the program donated staple food items which were donated to the Colonial Neighborhood Council for families in need.

The results of the 2012 Poetry Contest have been announced. Click here for the list. The winners will be honored at our open mic coffeehouse Sunday, May 20 (6-8 pm). Special guests that night will be the founder of the Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program, Joanne Leva, and the 2008 Poet Laureate, Elizabeth Rivers.
