A gentle form of yoga that includes yoga postures, breath work, and relaxation techniques. Some of the benefits of yoga are: improved strength, flexibility, and circulation, stress relief, and pain management, and a sense of calm and mental clarity.ﾠ
According to the instructor: “We work with standing poses and floor poses. I do my best to accommodate all people in the class meaning that I give options for each pose so that each person can work within a range of motion that is appropriate for their body. I strive to create a nurturing and non-competitive environment. I have students with osteoporosis, hip issues, back isssues, shoulder issues, etc. and I do my best to make sure they practice wisely and comfortably. We also work on core strength, in a gentle way, and practice breathing exercises. I would like to mention that you should be able to get up from and down to the floor easily to attend this class.”
