Animal “Engineers” Program for Kids

Monday, July 17th, 2017
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Community Room

The Delaware Museum of Natural History will bring the fun of engineering right to our library in this special program sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library! We’ll begin the program by reading Andrea Beaty’s beloved story, Rosie Revere, Engineer, and we’ll then discover that people aren’t the only creatures on the planet that can be engineers. We’ll take a look at some live animals who take building to the next level– animals you can find in your own backyard! DMNH is a proud community partner of the Longwood Gardens’ Community Read program, designed to encourage reading for pleasure and start a conversation. Everyone welcome; suggested for ages 4 – 8. Register below or by calling 610-828-0441.
